Dairy Can Cause Sinus Problems, Joint Pain, Fatigue & Migraines

Dairy Can Cause Sinus Problems, Joint Pain, Fatigue & Migraines

On a personal level… Just recently, I realized what was triggering my sinus allergies. Once I decided (as recommended by two doctors, when I was A. Diagnosed with blood in my stool and B. Diagnosed with Rhinitis) to finally let go of dairy, all my sinus allergies disappeared. I could finally breath and experience healthy bowel movements. This is by far one of the most healthy tips I share with my clients on a daily basis. What took me so long to eliminate dairy (especially cheese) from my diet? Addiction! I never knew I was in denial and addicted. One of the challenges any one could possibly be faced with when eliminating dairy is in fact addiction. Of course, I included mindful practices such as yoga, pranayama (breathing exercises) and physical exercise which I feel accelerated the results. Avoid dairy products at all cost and be free from antihistamine medicine, which is what the allergists suggested I do for the rest of my life. Look at me now, strong as a cow! You too can be allergy free…

http://www.DrAngelaAgrios.com – In this video Dr. Angela Agrios, ND (A California Licensed Naturopathic Doctor) explains how dairy sensitivities can cause many health problems including sinus issues, joint pain, fatigue and migraines. In this section, she explains that:

• Cow dairy is made up of the proteins casein and whey
• Many people can have problems with casein or whey protein
• For sinus problems, remove dairy and sugar and the problem may go away, especially if a neti-pot is used.

FYI: A casein allergy occurs when your body’s immune system mistakenly thinks the protein is harmful and inappropriately produces allergic (IgE) antibodies for protection. The interaction between these antibodies and the specific protein triggers the release of body chemicals such as histamine that cause symptoms which may include:

  • Swelling of the lips, mouth, tongue, face, or throat
  • Skin reactions such as hives, a rash, or red, itchy skin
  • Nasal congestion, sneezing, runny nose, itchy eyes, coughing, or wheezing

Weight Loss Juices 3, 5 and 7 day Programs

Eating a diet rich in fruits and veggies as part of a healthy balanced diet helps reduce the risk of heart disease, obesity and diabetes and may protect your body against certain types of cancers. Research studies suggest that one may eat any servings of fruits daily. It is recommended to eat at least 2-3 servings of fresh fruits every day. Fruits are low in calories and fat and are a source of simple sugars, fiber, and vitamins, which are essential for optimizing our health.  Vegetables are low in calories and fat, high in fiber and cholesterol-free. Vegetables provide a variety of essential nutrients, including vitamins A and C, potassium, fiber and folate.

This weight loss juice program will not only shed pounds and inches off your waist but it will also revitalize your body, mind and spirit. You will be provided with two 8 oz. jars one for a.m. hours and the second one for p.m. hours. Your a.m. jar will consist of mainly fruits and your p.m. jars will include mostly leafy greens and vegetables. Take them as part of your breakfast, lunch or dinner -or  consume them two to three hours after either meals. For example, you may consume your a.m. jar as part of your breakfast combined with cereal, oatmeal, eggs, toast, yogurt, and/or fruit bowl. If this becomes to much for you to consume all at once, you may consider drinking your a.m. jar two to three hours after you’ve had your breakfast. Follow the same procedure for either lunch or dinner, spreading three hours between each consumption.

Yoga at the Park Monday 3/17 6:00 p.m.

yoga at the park

This week’s Yoga at the Park was a total success.  Everyone enjoyed being outside watching the extended beautiful sunset. It was very special to me since it was mostly friends and family I hadn’t seen for a very long time. Next week, I’m expecting everyone to invite a friend or two and help me grow my offerings to our community.  The class is only $5 and we will practice for 75 minutes. Everyone will always leave with a sense of well-being and a relaxed mind to get them through the entire week. What are you waiting for? Come and visit us at:
